If this is your first time buying an NFT, here is a step-by-step guide to setting up your wallet, buying crypto and purchasing the Amplify Genesis NFT. If you’re an experienced web3 user, simply skip to step 4.

1. Download MetaMask

Visit the official MetaMask website and click on “Download.” Choose your preferred browser. Then, click on “Install the MetaMask extension.”

2. Create your wallet

Once the extension is installed, click on the MetaMask extension on your browser. After doing that, click on “Get Started”.

If you don’t have a wallet, click on “Create a Wallet.”

On the next window, you have the ability to choose whether you want to help improve MetaMask. Click on “I agree” or “No thanks.”

Create a strong password for your wallet. After creating your password, you’ll be shown a seed phrase. This is a group of randomly generated words that serve as your wallet’s master password.

It’s important to keep your seed phrase safe. Write it down on a piece of paper or store it on a hard disk or online password manager. This is crucial because if you lose your seed phrase, you lose access to your tokens forever.

Click on “Next,” and enter your seed phrase.

Click”Confirm.”

Your wallet has now been created. Click on “All Done”. Then, click on your MetaMask extension at the top-right-end of your browser to access your account.

3. Add funds (MATIC) to your wallet

After clicking on your MetaMask extension, click on “Expand View.” This will open a new tab in your browser. Click on “Ethereum Mainnet” and scroll down to “Add Network.” Click on it.

Enter the following details in “Settings.”

• Network name: Polygon Mainnet
• RPC URL: https://polygon-rpc.com
• Chain ID: 137
• Currency: MATIC
• Explorer: https://polygonscan.com/

Click “Save.”

Click on “Ethereum Mainnet” and choose “Polygon Mainnet”. After your wallet switches to the Polygon Mainnet, click on “Buy” and “Continue to Transak.”

When Transak opens, the following should pop up. Enter the amount of money that you want to spend on crypto. Choose whether you’ll be paying using your VISA or via bank transfer, and then click on “Buy MATIC.”

Follow the remaining payment prompts until you get to the payment getaway. Wait a few minutes before heading back to your wallet.

4. Buy your Amplify Genesis NFT

Visit https://amplify.link/minting. Click on “Connect Wallet.” After doing so, choose your wallet. If your MetaMask Wallet extension is activated, it should connect automatically.

After your wallet is connected, enter the amount of NFTs that you want to buy and click on “Mint.”

After the MetaMask extension pops up, click on “Confirm.”

The transaction should be complete when “NFT successfully minted!” pops up.

After the transaction is complete, click “View Transaction.”

Open your MetaMask wallet in another tab. Then, click on “Import Tokens.”

Click on “Custom Token.” Then, toggle to the transaction webpage.

Copy and paste the following details:

Copy Interacted With (To): for Token Contract Address
Copy the number next to Token ID for Token Decimal

Click on “Add Custom Token.” Your token should show up once you get redirected to your MetaMask wallet. If it doesn’t, refresh your browser.
